Landmannalaugar ("la terre des bains chauds")

Projet pour cet été: explorer (parapente) la région de Landmannalaugar.Szcepan Pawluszek(qui m'a souvent aidé à décoller l'été dernier) y a fait un vol en 2010, et il serait question que le club (de Reykjavik) y aille cet été, si ça se fait quand j'y suis, ce serait génial. Et si des poupésiens sont intéressés ... il y a tjs une place ou deux dans ma voiture fin mai pour l'aller ou le 21 juillet pour le retour (juste le passage en bateau à peu près 300 euros je crois pour un passager) et logement gratuit au local du club près de la capitale ... je cherche les photos du local

Szcepan Pawluszek: In my impression this particular place has promissing XC potential, it is a matter of good route planning no to end up in the middle of lava field without any roads to get back. It is sligtly remote area, good map and friends wtih 4X4 cars are essential + enought water and some food. We will do soemthing in this area for sure in 2011 !!!

Agst Gudmundsson:we (the very old HG pilots) have discussed this for many years. We should take this discussion, with a map some of the next meetings. Planning is the first step.
